OUR AVAILABLE ROOMS
We have a suitable room for every occasion, each one full of ambience.
Our restaurant has space for 60 people and you can see our chefs at work in the open kitchen. The windows provide a breathtaking view over the bridge the “Voetangelbrug” and the small streams “de Holendrecht” and “de Waver”. The large picture on the wall is from 1962 and depicts grandma Leurs and the famous Dutch comedian Wim Sonneveld, who used to be a regular guest of this small cafe. It is in fact how it all started…
A set of (open) glass doors connects the restaurant to the bar.
In our cosy “Brown Bar” you can enjoy an aperitif and bite to eat, whilst perusing our menu.
The bar has space for 30 people and is connected to the Brasserie, which itself has an additional space for two diners at two or our higher tables.
From the Polder Room you can enjoy an incredible panoramic view over our typical Dutch polder landscape, full of pasture lands, rippling water ways and dykes. This area is also available for groups up to 28 people. If you are a group of at least 25 people, the Polder Room can be booked without a room rental.
In the Brasserie you can chose from the same comprehensive menu we have available in the Restaurant, and lunch is served here too. Thanks to the many large windows you can enjoy more panoramic views of the skyline of Amsterdam Zuidoost with the famous Arena, and Ziggo Dome, as well as the streams “Bullewijk” and “Holendrecht”. The Brasserie has space for 35 people and is connected to the Polder room via open glass doors.
It is quite incredible, when you can enjoy views stretching over water and meadows right up to the skyline of Amsterdam, whilst sat in an oasis of peace and nature in the beautiful polder. You will enjoy your moment of tranquility in the lounge corner or under one of the parasols, whilst making a choice from our comprehensive menu. It goes without saying you can also seat yourself for a drink or delicious cup of coffee or tea with a piece of Dutch apple pie.
